exe) that I can open as a stand alone application. The only thing I have the location of is the Kontakt 5 application (the.
I believe you responded to someone else previously with this same response but unfortunately I still can not find it after reading your suggestions. This is how it worked in NOTION 5, and it will be similar in NOTION 6.
#KONTAKT 6 COMPATIBILITY MAC#
This is the way it looks on the Mac when you are in NOTION 6 Score Setup and have clicked on "VST Instruments" and "Kontakt 5". In the video scenario, you will set NOTION 6 to upscale audio to 48,000 samples per second. There are some Kontakt 5 settings that are important, and one of them involves ensuring you are running Kontakt 5 at the same sample-rate as NOTION 6, which will be standard CD quality (44,100 samples per second), unless you are doing audio for video, in which case the sample-rate will be 48,000 samples per second, since this is the standard sample-rate for audio in video. If you can't find it, then one of the Windows folks can point you in the right direction. On the Mac, the various flavors of Kontakt 5 will be located in the "Applications" folder, but on a Windows machine it will be located somewhere else, although where specifically is not something I can provide.
#KONTAKT 6 COMPATIBILITY FULL VERSION#
Once you have enabled the full version of Kontakt 5 in the NOTION 6 Plug-In Manager, Kontakt 5 will appear in the list of VST Instruments in NOTION 6 Score Setup and you can begin using it. "Kontakt 5 16out" is the flavor that provides 16 stereo channels, and it's the one to use if you need to have a lot of instruments in a single instance of Kontakt 5. I enable "Kontakt 5" and "Kontakt 5 16out" but not "Kontakt 5 8out". If you don't see these three Kontakt 5 items, then you can use the "Browse" button to find them. This is how it looks on the Mac, and it will be similar on your Windows machine, but the paths will be different, of course.
You need to run the NOTION 6 Plug-In Manager, where you will browse to the location of the full version of Kontakt 5, if it's not already listed in the available VSTi virtual instruments in the NOTION 6 Pllug-in Manager. The setup and configuration on a Windows machine is a bit different from the way it's done on the Mac, but the concepts are the same.
